Inspiration for this design (translating as “Novohrad pixels”) comes from man’s shirt embroidery, traditionally worn in Polichno (Novohrad region) during the second third of the twentieth century. The patterns were usually created using cross stitch embroidery and their colour ways differentiated from one another based on the age of the wearer. We decided to keep the pixelated look, so typical for cross stitch, but we have re-drawn the motifs by hand, using charcoal, to provide modern & playful aesthetics. The gray t-shirt is complemented by a blue, contrasting color design. We also have a white and black t-shirt with different color variants of the design. You can match the whole family, as Novohrad pixels can be found in the women’s and men’s collection.
